Drain Cleaning Snaking Services
When the pipes in your home’s plumbing system or drain are clogged, you need help from a trusted professional licensed plumber. If a toilet is blocked, your kitchen sink is clogged, or your vanity doesn't work, or if there is a slow drain in any of your plumbing fixtures, it needs to be handled by someone with plumbing knowledge and experience.
AnTa Plumbing and Drain is able to deliver high level of expertise in conjunction with latest equipment to provide solutions and recommendations to any drain problems.
Kitchen Snaking. Sink is blocked
While the plunger is a 10-minute solution, expect the snake to take 20 to 30 minutes. You'll have to remove kitchen drain or the P-trap under the sink first, then shove the snake down the drain, spinning it around corners and into clogs. The corkscrew tip grabs obstructions so you can pull them out. Anta’s master plumbers use a special kitchen snake that doesn't require the p-trap to be removed. It can work through the kitchen drain and delivers more long-lasting results.

Drain snaking. Unclog the blocked pipes
A drain snake is also called a plumbing snake or drain auger. It's a device used to unclog drains. There are several different types of plumbing snakes for home and commercial use as well as several different types of bits that can be put on the cable. Our technicians receive extensive training on using the proper bits and cables that are best suited for each application and every situation.
AnTa Plumbing uses large motor powered snakes that use various sized cables. These types of machines can be dangerous and hazardous to your health if not treated with respect and handled by trained personnel.
Drain cleaning. Maintenance tips
- Running hot water down your drain for about 30 seconds once a week will help clear the drain
before any blockage can build up.
- In bathroom drains, be sure to block/cover the overflow opening in the sink before you try plunging.
- Keep the garbage disposal under your kitchen sink clean by not using it as a trash can. Don't put potato skins, meat bones and broken glass down the garbage disposal.
- Commercial drain cleaners are caustic and often contain lye that can burn your skin or eyes. It is best avoided, but if you decide to use one, never try to plunge a drain after pouring drain cleaner down it.
- Some commercial products use compressed air to force blockages out of drainpipes. The blast of
compressed air could cause damage to your pipes. Therefore, rather avoid it.
A blocked drain pipe often becomes a costly and destructive problem for building owners. Partially blocked pipes result in the slow draining of sinks, basins, toilets and tubs, and inefficient operation of water closets. Totally blocked pipes usually result in sewage backing up through floor drains or fixtures, often causing property damage and potential health hazards. To easily clear any blockage that may occur, "cleanouts" of approved design and size must be strategically located throughout the drainage system.
Anta Plumbing not only cleans blocked drains, but we also install clean outs to help prevent frequent drain blockages.
Drain back up: sewer pipe replacement, drain repair.

Residential and Commersial Drain Cleaning
Hydro-jetting is a process that uses high speed / high pressure water to clear blockages in pipe systems and is typically the first approach to clearing blocked lines. Barring the possibility of a collapsed line, hydro-jetting will solve the problem and thereafter routine maintenance will keep the lines free and functioning properly.
Do it yourself tips
You can try to remove blockage by using a plunger. Using a plunger is the simplest way to open a clogged drain without undoing any pipes. The idea is to break up the clog and force it on down the drain. You don't have to take anything apart. We recommend that you wear rubber gloves.
