Weeping tile
As you can see, a weeping tile is not a tile at all but rather a mode of piping that forms part of the drainage system. During the weeping tile installation process, Anta Plumbing will lay a porous pipe system in an aggregate formation, allowing excess groundwater from rain or snowmelt to be collected from the ground rather than saturating the soil surrounding the home and causing mold and wet rot in the basement.
Rocks and stones are placed around the weeping tiles in order to prevent dirt from clogging the weeping tiles. A weeping tile system increases the efficiency of the home’s regular drainage system and is often used for irrigation purposes by crop farmers.
